Dish Network has launched the new Epix movie channel called The 3, featuring popular films from the ‘70s through the present.
Premium movie channel The 3 offers unedited showings of movies from joint venture partners Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Lionsgate, such as “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Rocky,” “Top Gun” and “The Terminator,” as well as genre fare such as “chop sockey” movies, teen coming-of-age comedies from the ‘80s; and edgier late-night features hosted “Shock Theater” style.
The movies are packaged with original trailers of the era.
The 3 from EPIX is on Dish Network channel 292 and is available at no extra charge to customers who subscribe to America’s Top 250 and above. Epiz is a video-on-demand and online service.
