Perhaps the most prolific 3D filmmaker, Paul W.S. Anderson, is casting for his 3D version of “The Three Musketeers,” which starts shooting in September for a 2011 relesae from Summit.
September is the same time his latest 3D movie, “Resident Evil: Afterlife,” opens. The director/writer is also committed to a 3D version of “Buck Rogers.”
Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, and Matthew Macfadyen are set as the all-for-one and one-for-all French buddies Porthos, Athos and Aramis, respectively, in “Three Musketeers.”
Logan Lerman (“Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief”) is in negotiations to play the young Musketeer wannabe D’Artagnan.
Anderson’s wife, Milla Jovovich, star of the “Resident Evil” franchise, has been cast in “The Three Musketeers” as Milady de Winter, a former love of Athos.
