Filmmaker Paul W.S. Anderson will give a keynote address at the inaugural 3D Gaming Summit April 21-22 at the Hilton Los Angeles, Universal City, CA.

Anderson, who directed one of the first blockbuster movies to be based on a best-selling video game and went on to write, direct and/or produce the “Resident Evil” franchise and “Alien vs. Predator,” is set to direct the recently-announced 3D feature film “Buck Rogers.”

The 3D Gaming Summit, presented by event management company Unicomm, LLC in association with Variety will explore how video games aided by new technologies like stereoscopic 3D are bridging the gap between interactive and linear entertainment. The 2010 event will include keynotes, one-on-one interviews, panels, networking breaks, table top displays, private screening rooms and an evening special event and industry reception.
