The good news is that “The Green Hornet” will now be presented in 3D. The bad news is that means another slight delay of the Sony release originally scheduled for Dec. 22 and now pushed ot Jan. 14.
The other bad news is that “Priest,” which had already been delayed already to Jan. 14, 2011 by Sony’s Screen Gems to accommodate a 3D upgrade, will also be pushed back to March, Sony announced on Thursday.
Although principal photography has already been completed on “The Green Hornet” with no 3D photography, the studio promises to do all the effects in 3D. Work on effects and editing has yet to begin.
“The Green Hornet” stars Seth Rogan and is directed by Michel Gondry.
