Sony has officially announced plans to take Spider-Man to 3D for the fourth film release on July 3, 2012.
Marc Webb will direct from a James Vanderbilt script.
It’s just one of several new 3D projects being added to the pipeline recently, following Sony’s announcement last week that “Priest” will go 3D and be delayed until Jan. 11, 2011, just 10 days before the four chapter of “Underworld” will reportedly be released in 3D on Jan. 21, 2011.
