Jeffrey Katzenberg has been perhaps the biggest proponent of 3D in the past several years.
As recently as last fall he said he thought movie studios still had several of years in the market to themselves with the unique technology before 3D was offered in homes. Last week he was taken aback at all the 3D TV displays and Blu-ray players while roaming the exhibit floor at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
