It is remarkable how a movie like Skyfall can earn so much money, when we take into consideration the use of tricks and techniques resembling Nolan’s work, who has taken them from older directors and transformed them into breathtaking blockbusters. Skyfall and Inception have a couple of things in common, boredom being the most striking of them. And still, they managed to leave much better movies in shadows.
