A special edition of “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” will premiere on Blu-ray four days after the sequel movie musical starring the Jonas Brothers debuts on The Disney Channel.
“Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam: Extended Edition,” featuring two additional songs, “Walking
in My Shoes” and “Different Summers,” will be released on Blu-ray Tuesday, Sept. 7, by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. The special edition also includes a behind-the-scenes introduction to the newest stars, music videos by camp rockers from around the world, a “Rock-Along” feature that allows viewers to take center stage, and more.
This follow-up story to the top-rated cable movie of 2008 finds Mitchie (Demi Lovato) excited about returning to Camp Rock and can’t wait to spend the summer making music with her friends Shane, Nate and Jason (Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas). Returning to the production are Maria Canals-Barrera (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) and Meaghan Martin (“10 Things I Hate About You”), while newcomers Matthew Mdot Finley and Chloe Bridges join the cast.
The movie premieres at 8 p.m. ET/PT Friday, Sept. 3 on The Disney Channel and will repeat at the same time on each of the next three nights of Labor Day weekend, Saturday – Monday, Sept. 4-6.
A combo pack will be available for $44.99 that includes the extended 104-minute edition of the movie on Blu-ray Disc, DVD, and Digital Copy.
