Alice revealed: Imageworks
Five-time visual effects Oscar-winner Ken Ralston and the team at Sony Pictures Imageworks recently provided a small group of journalists with a behind-the-looking-glass peek into the enormous and myriad types of effects, animation and technology that went into the making of “Alice in Wonderland” for Tim Burton and Disney.
The following 3 1/2-minute video features the area of the discussion and demonstration focused on the decision, strategy and process of shooting “Alice in Wonderland” in 2D and later converting it to 3D.
