Glasses-free 3D signage at CES

While the TV and Blu-ray industries didn’t feel that so-called glasses-free 3D technology would be sufficiently developed for use by consumers in their living rooms for several years, signage companies feel like they’ve already got it worked out.

At CES in Las Vegas this week, New York-based Magnetic 3D will be showcasing three new product lines:

* Allura commercial-grade 3D LCD public monitor displays ranging from 22″ – 55″ to be used in stores and at events.

* Emersa 3D monitors ranging from 22″ – 42″ for close proximity viewing of  presentations, digital prototyping, gaming, and content creation.

* Envolve 3D touch displays for real time and interactive active 3D applications for commercial use such as slot gaming, kiosk solutions, and way finders.

The company will also feature a 3D-enabled digital signage solution for remotely managing 2D and auto-stereo 3D content seamlessly and simultaneously in a global network, as well as a proprietary customer relationship management tool specifically designed to streamline the development of 3D content and track the progress of 3D Creative online.
