In response to the number of homes with set-top Blu-ray players nearly doubling this year, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group has expanded its “DVD2Blu” upgrade program to allow consumers to choose to replace any of 90 Warner DVD titles with HiDef copies on Blu-ray.
The lowest-priced trade-in price in this program is $4.95, plus shipping and handling.
Among the new titles being offered are “Under Siege,” “Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut,” “Risky Business,” and “The Lost Boys.”
The service, launched last year, sends consumers the Blu-ray versions after they mail in their standard DVDs with pre-paid postage.
