DirecTV has licensed its exclusive NFL Sunday Ticket subscription service to JetBlue Airways‘ free live in-flight programming on seatbacks.
JetBlue’s NFL Sunday Ticket service will offer up to 14 games every Sunday throughout the NFL regular season when traveling on the value airline to more than 50 destinations across the U.S.
“JetBlue is New York’s fan favorite and largest domestic airline at John F. Kennedy International Airport and we look forward to welcoming even more football fans onboard during the ‘Sunday Funday’ season,” said Don Uselmann, manager of Product Development at JetBlue.
JetBlue has been offering 36 channels of free, live DirecTV programming as part of its award-winning customer service and in-flight experience since 2000.
The new NFL Sunday Ticket service will replace many of those 36 channels from 12 noon – 8 p.m. on Sundays from Oct. 3 to Jan. 2, 2011.
