Sensio Technologies, Inc. will introduce a range of professional-grade 3D broadcast solutions, including encoding/decoding, signal processing, and 2D-to-3D conversion technology, at IBC 2010, September 9-14 in Amsterdam.
Sensio was instrumental in the delivery of live 3D coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2010 to cinemas around the world and part of the team delivering live 3D sports telecasts via ESPN. Sensio president and CEO Nicholas Routhier says that Sensio 3D Live Global Network of cinema operators offers an important future revenue stream for content-producers.
The Sensio products at demonstrations will be shown at the stands and in the products of Miranda Technologies (8.B80) and International Datacasting Corporation (1.C29). A demonstration of Sensio 3D with Teranex Systems (13.C46) can also be seen at their stand, and Gennum Corporation will be giving an exclusive demonstration to select invitees.
