Panasonic’s 4 new 3D plasmas

After selling out of some batches of its Viera 50-inch 3D TVs in March via its exclusive partnership with Best Buy Magnolia Home Theater stores, Panasonic will introduce four new Viera 3D TVs to a wider range of retailers nationwide beginning next week.

Models range from 50-inches to 65-inches and retail for $2,600 – $4,300.

PanasonicVT25-185x109The new Viera VT25 series full HiDef 3D plasma displays are the 50-inch TC-P50 ($2,599.95) and 54-inch TC-P545 ($2,999.95), available May 3rd, followed by the 58-inch TC-P58 ($3,399.95) and 65-inch TC-P65 ($4,299.95) in June.

The VIERA VT25 Series was voted “Best of Show” at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show and also received the Consumer Electronics Association’s esteemed 2010 Innovations Award for its innovative 3D technology.

All VT25 models include:

* full 1080p with outputs alternating imagery at 60 frames per second to each eye working in unison with the required Active Shutter eyewear.

* one pair of Panasonic 3D Active Shutter Eyewear (TY-EW3D10U); additional pairs of Panasonic 3D glasses retail for $149.95 each.

* WiFi and Skype capability to access Web features such as Amazon Video on Demand, Bloomberg News, Fox Sports, Netflix, and communicate via two-way video.
