Imagine, Hasbro and Universal Studios are going 3D with the movie adaptation of the Hasbro toy “Stretch Armstrong.”
That will push the film featuring “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner back from summer 2011 to sometime in 2012, according to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline Hollywood.
In the movie version, an uptight spy discovers a formula that allows him to stretch, which comes in handy when fighting crime as well as everyday life. Seems like it might also make for lots of obvious and fun 3D moments.
Imagine’s Brian Graze will producer with Hasbro the screenplay by Steve Oedekerk.
