A pretty diverse line-up of new Blu-ray titles this week should offer something for nearly everyone. Here are a few of the most notable new releases:
- “Moon” (Sony, $37.95) is a near one-man “Cast Away” type journey for an astronaut (Sam Rockwell) trying to hang on to sanity after three years alone in a lab on the moon.

– HAL9000-type computer (voiced by Kevin Spacey)
– terrific highly-produced half-hour short from director Duncan Jones about a conflicted assassin who is also father to a young child.
– two interesting Q&As with Jones at Sundance and Houston Science Center
- “Post Grad” (Fox, $39.99), romantic comedy about a highly-organized young lady who loses control when her sure-thing dream job falls through and she must move back in with her parents.
– Cute, light fun
– Fun supporting roles by Michael Keaton, Carol Burnett, and Jane Lynch (“Glee,” “Two and a Half Men” and seemingly everywhere)
– deleted, alternate scenes
– music video “One Day” by Jack Savoretti
– numerous other featurettes
– all 21 episodes
– Mediocre “Twentieth Anniversary Special,” hosted by Morgan Spurlock on TV this week.

– talent search finalists featurette
- “Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself” (Lionsgate, $39.99) starring Mary J. Blige, Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson (“Curious Case of Benjamin Button”), and Gladys Knight.
