JWTIntelligence has ranked 3D at home as the top thing to watch in 2010.
That puts 3D at home above airline subscriptions, #3-ranked alternative measures of prosperity, #9-ranked Boeing 787 Dreamliner, #24-ranked electric cars, and “Ellen on ‘Idol’ ” at #26.
The annual list by the New York-based marketing communications network agency spotlights consumer trends and identifies changes in the global zeitgeist so as to convert shifts into compelling opportunities for brands.
The list includes everything from “energy dieting” to “luxury goes East” to “trip bundling,” as well as people in pop culture, sports, politics and other sectors who have the potential to drive or shape trends in the near future. The top individual is British actress Carey Mulligan at #13 (“An Education” and upcoming “Wall Street II”), and “30 Rock” writer/actor Danny Glover at #20.
