CES 2010 is home 3D expo

The 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas quickly became the 3D show, with Panasonic, Sony and Samsung bringing in their top execs such as Sony’s Sir Howard Stringer, Panasonic partner “Avatar” producer Jon Landau, and top entertainers such as Taylor Swift to announce programming deals with DirecTV, ESPN, Discovery Communications, and IMAX, and Toshiba and nearly every CE company joining the likes of XpanD, Nvidia, HDlogix and many other 3D companies in announcing and showcasing all manner of 3D TVs, Blu-ray players, videogame systems, and glasses.

It was enough to have DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg somewhat shell-shocked at how fast and dominant home 3D has become.

Highlights of all the above can be seen in the four-minute video below, with about ten breakout videos available here at this site specific to specific companies and announcements.

The last two 3Ds were the best . They were no doubt the real reason why you attended.

Seriously, another great reporting job. You are the best!

    Peter.
